The Style Edit: Four Looks I'm Packing
This one's a preview, not a finished look. I'm traveling Tuesday, and this mood board is what I'm pulling from to plan the trip. Consider this the behind-the-scenes version, real photos to follow once I land.
Fall in Florida isn't a season, it's a loophole. A blazer in the morning, the beach by afternoon. I live in blazers most weeks, corporate environment, structured, tailored, classic. The risk I've started taking isn't in the silhouette, it's in the color underneath it.
The palette I'm packing from: rust, bronze, copper, deep maroon, and olive satin, pivoting against midnight blue, soft sky blue, tomato red, and chartreuse.
Four directions I'm choosing between:
The Twilight Line. Olive satin structured wrap blouse, high-waisted rust trousers, baby blue pumps, chocolate leather accessories with a bronze buckle.
The Maroon Accent. Ecru wide-leg jumpsuit, deep maroon double-breasted blazer draped over the shoulders, tomato red pumps, dark copper jewelry.
The Color Pivot. Olive silk button-down under a bronze-copper metallic-weave blazer, fuchsia trousers, midnight blue suede pumps.
The Winter Statement: Chocolate Coat. Floor-length chocolate coat, belted, oversized fur collar and cuffs.
Which one do you think makes the suitcase? Comment your guess, and if you want to see how I actually styled it, follow Samiyah, Real Estate In The Mix on TikTok, @realstagesglobal, for the full reveal.
